Alex and Mac do an amazing job of breaking down each episode of The Mandalorian, and they really have a knack for world-building so that fans (like myself) who aren’t well-versed in the lore of the expanded universe can fully and thoroughly enjoy each detail of the Disney+ hit show that we might have missed otherwise. 12/10 and I HIGHLY recommend! Keep The Watch!

Fan of the films, great path to deeper fandom

All the games and books were beyond my time comittment for me - despite my love of Star Wars - the guys do a GREAT job of bridging the deep geek love and knowledge allowing those of us who aren't as deep into the universe great explainers that make watching The Mandalorian that much richer. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Been listening since the start - great pod.

My go-to podcast for all things Mandalorian

Really well produced podcast. I like the breakdown format, which provides detailed context while also allowing the hosts to have a structured discussion about each scene and still have fun too. It’s a great balance. The hosts are honest with their criticisms but never mean spirited or jaded, which is refreshing. Just two guys that really love Star Wars sharing their knowledge and letting us join in on the fun. Keep the watch!

Best Mando podcast out there

I’ve recommended this podcast to all my friends who watch Mando, and they’ve all ended up loving it too. The hosts just give off such great vibes, and you can tell how much they genuinely love Star Wars and The Mandalorian.

Thoughtful, Kind, and Passionate

A kind and thoughtful podcast with two hosts that have a clear affection for Star Wars and all the trappings that come along with the universe. They aren’t afraid to be critical when necessary, but the overall tone is one of deep love for the Galaxy Far Far Away. They have a knowledge of both Canon and Legends lore, which enhances their ability to have meaningful conversations about our characters and what could drive them. Most Star Wars podcasts seem to be hosted by fans who believe a debt is owed to them for the years of devotion; this show is hosted by two dudes who know that sometimes being a fan means loving your fandom, warts and all. A pleasure to listen to.

Amazing

I really love this show, it shows me all the things I didn’t know so I can just enjoy the episode. So many inside details and things. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars is a few small details. Mac giggles a lot, taking away from what he and Alex say. Also, they spend like 5 minutes every episode plugging there patreon and other things. Overall, definitely my favorite podcast. Keep the watch, This is The Way.

Knowledgeable AND Down To Earth

These dudes are great. They have been my favorite podcast for Mandalorian content. They’re personalities are up beat, and they don’t get bogged down or lost in the weeds like other Entertainment Media Journalists. They are fans with the same mindset and energy as viewers of the show. They are the kinds of people you’d want to talk Star Wars with IRL. Great podcast. Just a nice good old time.

Lot of saliva

Good content but the Alex guy has far too much saliva in his mouth and is continuously swallowing it directly into the mic, which is pretty gross.

Love the accessibility for all levels of fans

Love that I didn’t have to be a super fan of everything Star Wars to enjoy this podcast, but Alex and Mac bring their knowledge of the wider universe and history to the episode breakdowns that really enhances the experience for a novice like me. I got inspired to watch all of the animated series (Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance). And I really love that they stay positive and focus on community building. Yay! Keep the watch! :}
