I started listening on a whim, but have been hooked ever since. I think what I love the most is the contagious excitement and love for everything Star Wars. They provide awesome insight into the shows coming out and make me super excited to see them and speculate about what might happen. Keep the watch!

Best Star Wars After Watch Podcast!!

I discovered COT before the final season of the Bad Batch started and got hooked immediately with the thorough breakdowns Alex and Mac provide for all of the Star Wars shows. I really enjoyed the Jedi & Sith 101 and High Republic Book Club episodes leading up to The Acolyte premier. Now I am excited to listen each week to hear all the breakdowns of each episode and the potential wild speculations of what is to come. Thank you Alex and Mac for such an incredible show and everything you guys do for the podcast. Keep the watch!

This show rules.

I have listened to these guys since season 2 of the Mandalorian. In 2020, we all needed a pick me up - Listening to Alex & Mac after each new episode of Mando lifted my spirits every week. I was happy to join their Patreon and have loved getting to consume every bit of content they put out into the world. The excitement with which they talk about Star Wars reminds me of the way I talk with my friends about Star Wars. Alex & Mac feel like old friends by now. The Star Wars fandom needs positivity. Star Wars has something for everyone. Star Wars is for everyone! The Children of the Watch spread this desperately needed idea to audiences new & old and I am so grateful that they do. For the lifelong fans and for the ones who just started watching, you have a place to learn and get excited with these guys! For light and life! May the Force be with you! And…KEEP THE WATCH!

Positive and knowledgeable

I feel like so many Star Wars podcasts just find things to hate, which just adds to the toxic fandom problem. This has been a great find for me, they know so much about the animated shows and the books which helps foster more well rounded speculations and theories without getting too crazy. Positive and upbeat and a great thing to put on in the car the day after an episode airs! Keep it up guys. Keep the Watch! :)

Y’all need to listen to this podcast asap rocky

COTW is my favorite podcast. I went into watching Mando without a lot of prior Star Wars knowledge and wanted to know more about the lore so I searched for a podcast that would help me better understand and COTW came up. Since my first episode, I’ve religiously listened to everything and now have such a better grasp of the SW universe and all that’s happening with the live-action shows we’re getting. Plus, Mac and Alex are like friends to me now without them even knowing it. I can’t wait for Obi-Wan to come out in just a few weeks! Keep the Watch!

Just Great Star Wars Discussions

Children of the Watch is a fantastic show. It’s a great companion to everything going on in the Star Wars universe. Alex and Mac do a great job of simply having a discussion about the relevant topics in a given week. And they provide great context around those topics. Very helpful for those of us who want so desperately to dive into the deep cuts of Star Wars, but don’t have the time. Many shows in this genre are over-produced and the hosts are full of themselves. Not this show. It’s simply 2 guys having a fun chat about Star Wars each week. It’s always a pleasure to see a new episode appear in my feed. Thanks for a great show! KEEP THE WATCH!

Fan of the films, great path to deeper fandom

All the games and books were beyond my time comittment for me - despite my love of Star Wars - the guys do a GREAT job of bridging the deep geek love and knowledge allowing those of us who aren't as deep into the universe great explainers that make watching The Mandalorian and all the other shows that much richer. I’ve learned so much!

I’ve been a casual Star Wars fan all my life but never paid attention to the intricate details of the stories. As my sons grew to love and discuss Star Wars, I found that I wasn’t able to participate in their conversations, and I sought after a podcast to help me out. This show is it! Alex and Mac’s breakdowns have helped me learn the characters and backgrounds, and it has brought all Star Wars shows together in one big story for me that I couldn’t see on my own. Now I love being able to talk and impress my family with what I’ve learned from these guys. Thank you for what you do, and Keep the Watch!

Been a long time listener since probably episode 1 of the mandalorian it’s been a heck of a ride and I’ve enjoyed all of the content I can. Guys are very knowledgeable of the lore and what’s canon and what’s not very easy listen and would recommend to 9/10 dentists. Keep the Watch!

Star Wars Without the Toxicity!

The guys constantly bring it for Star Wars fans! The guys educate, speculate, and review all of the Star Wars projects in a way that is truly special. They don’t engage in hyper negativity or the toxicity that you often find on the internet with fans of this franchise, but they aren’t afraid to question things that don’t land with them. They do this without trampling on people who do enjoy those things, however. Their show is an absolute treat for Star Wars fans and makes me keep coming back to every new entry into the franchise with childlike excitement! Keep the watch!

Best Star Wars Recap Show

My 11 year old son found the podcast after we watched The Mandalorian and asked me to listen with him to find out if it was appropriate (which it is). He is an avid Star Wars fan and I liked Star Wars but never fully got into it. Needless to say after listening to Alex and Mac go scene by scene has made me a big fan. It has become mine and my sons routine to watch the episodes together and then listen to the podcast the following day. Thank you for providing amazing content as well as growing the bond between a father and a son. 10/10 recommend. Keep the watch.
