The hosts are so fun, knowledgeable, positive, and insightful! I’m relatively new to Star Wars but they make everything easy to understand for us newbies while doing deeper dives for the longtime fans. They also generate a ton of content - episode breakdowns, listener feedback episodes, pre-season speculation episodes, etc. Thanks Alex and Mac!

Not only do they go scene by scene, having focused discussions, but they’re positive! They don’t try to nitpick every single thing. You can tell they want Star Wars to be a joyful experience! Hands down the BEST for Mandalorian coverage. Cannot wait for REBELS!!!

LOVE y’all’s knowledge and insight but don’t understand or need the scene by scene recap. Maybe time stamp when the overall discussion of the episode starts? Also the giggles get annoying. Great show other than that!

My husband and I have been listening since Mandalorian season 1 and this is truly the best podcast in the galaxy! We have gotten my 76 year old mom into Star Wars with The Mandalorian and she also started listening to the podcast to help her understand the story better. I feel like so many Star Wars podcasts just find things to hate, which just adds to the toxic fandom problem. This has been a great find for me, they know so much about the animated shows and the books which helps foster more well rounded speculations and theories without getting too crazy. Positive and upbeat and a great thing to put on in the car the day after an episode airs! Keep it up guys. :)

Alex and Mac’s extensive knowledge and enthusiasm for all of Star Wars, and especially The Mandelorian, is truly awesome! I love their detailed recaps and thoughtful analysis. I also appreciate when they refer to the history and background of past shows that tie into The Mandelorian as I haven’t followed other shows/books and would definitely miss Easter eggs, etc. without them. They have even motivated me to watch other Star Wars shows like The Clone Wars. I an so glad that I found you guys, y’all are one of my favorite podcasts!

I listen to a lot of podcasts and this one is my favorite. I’m a new Star Wars fan and started with Mando and this podcast made it so enjoyable for me. I’m hooked!! It love that anyone can listen and the hosts are so knowledgeable, insightful, funny and relatable.

So positive, they really love Star Wars. They don’t just hate on something and then you have to hear some dumb pet peeve or “sellout” like on other podcasts about shows or whatever. So in depth(I’ve never watched any of the animated SW), and share lore and stuff easily and really makes me engaged with the story for all the Star Wars shows out now.

I love their enthusiasm! They are also every knowledge about Star Wars lore. Great scene by scene format.

Ok so maybe you could do less talking at the begining and at the end because I don’t want to listen to you talking about news we all know but you could do the intro, episode, and then the breakdown. Then you could do all the news at the end so we could end it there.

Just found the watch and have really enjoyed all of the history lessons. Great show. I love how the host are unabashedly in love with all things Star Wars.

At the time, I wasn’t a fan of the Star Wars franchise. So I knew I was missing A LOT of information as I was watching the first season of The Mandalorian. So I went looking for an aftershow podcast. Found this one and haven’t regretted it. I even recently subscribed to their Patreon! Their love for the franchise is infectious and they know pretty much everything, or are at least good at faking what they don’t know. ;) It sounds like they successfully straddle the line of entertaining both newbies as well as seasoned veterans of the franchise. And they are so so welcoming, no fan shaming here. If there’s just one thing you love about Star Wars, then in their eyes you’re also a fan of Star Wars. I never considered myself a fan because while I watched all the movies, I never cared much for them. Until The Force Awakens, that was the first movie I watched where I went “Wow! I get the obsession!” But then I didn’t care for the last two episodes 8&9. But then I watched Star Wars Rebels and felt that WOW factor again and then again with Mandalorian. So I figured out, I do love Star Wars, I just don’t like Skywalkers. Which keeps getting reaffirmed as I watch and fall in love with shows like Book of Boba Fett and Bad Batch and Andor. I did enjoy Obi Wan, but got the most enjoyment from the episodes that didn’t have Vader. I’m fine with being an oddball fan! So in short. Highly recommend this podcast if you’re in the market for a Star Wars aftershow or want to learn/relearn Star Wars history/trivia or just want to hear two guys (along with all their fans thanks to voicemail hotline) geek out.

This is the way to tide yourself over in between week-to-week episodes. 10/10 would recommend for any level of fan

A truly wonderful place to learn more about the Star Wars universe. They spread positivity and joy in every episode to make all listeners feel welcome. Above all else, I appreciate that they support up-and-coming local businesses. I was first skeptical about Vanth refrigeration, but after going through the process of finding the right fridge for me, I cannot rate them high enough. Cobb was out on FMLA, but the rest of the team stepped up to make sure I received the attention needed for a satisfactory experience.
